Opened in November 2019, the Railroad District is the second location for us at The Veil.

This taproom/restaurant is three floors, spacious, bright, and energetic. Family friendly. Offering cans/bottles to go, drafts (including guest beers) for on-premise consumption, wine/cider, and a full kitchen currently serving burgers and dogs from Frank & Patty’s.

Only You Bar & Lounge is located on the third floor of The Veil Brewing Co. Share cocktails and small plates to the backdrop of analog sounds.

We then transferred the beer into wine barrels which we stored in our cooler for 3+ months to lager. Can conditioned, naturally carbonated and crisp like a lager, with an added layer of oak and a hint of wild funk to it.

The beer was then transferred out of the fermenter into freshly dumped French Oak Tawny Port barrels, direct from Portugal. It was then aged in the cold for 16 months, transferred back into stainless and lagered for an additional 2 weeks! The result is a Porter with light oak tannins, medium body, minimal sweetness and a zippy carbonation level. Flavors of dry dark chocolate and espresso.
